Birthday Parties:
We provide the fun, you provide the people!

$18.00 per person which includes a $12.00 piece, however, if a person chooses a piece under $12, the total price will be $18 because that is our flat rate.
$50.00 deposit required (non-refundable 2 weeks prior to event)
2 hour time period
Food and drink allowed and you must provide plates and utensils (Food can be delivered)
Minimum of 5 people and maximum of 12 people
Employee will be there to provide information about the whole process of painting, to assist the party if help is needed and clean-up afterward.

Fundraising: Painting pottery is a great way to earn money for any organization including your school, church or club! The most popular form of fundraising at our studio is tiles. Parents can buy a tile for their child to paint for a set amount of money and the more you sell, the more you make for your organization! Groups can come into the studio and paint or take all supplies needed to any destination and each child can paint a tile. We then glaze & fire the pieces, you pick them up and build a wall of tiles, a countertop of tiles, a framed work of art or anything your heart desires! We also have many other pieces like plate sets, vases, large serving dishes, etc. that can be decorated with handprints, fingerprints, custom art or pre-designed drawings made especially by your children. You can then auction off these pieces and earn a surprising amount of money simply because these pieces are unique and handpainted by children within the community.
We have also done fundraising for such organizations as the SPCA and the Fauquier Free Clinic! Call for more information.

Field Trips/Homeschoolers: Help children expand their mind creatively...paint pottery! We'll explain and give visuals of how pottery goes from a slab of clay to a beatiful glazed piece of art. We provide everything including stamps, stencils, sponges, idea books, a little coaching and a lot of encouragement. If you have a specific amount of money you would like to spend, we will try to meet that price. Great for mother's day, father's day and holiday projects.

Gifts for teacher or coach: Make a memory last by giving the gift of pottery. Choose from our variety of pieces and let your class or team paint a little momento for coach or teacher onto your chosen piece of pottery. He or she will love the unique gift, leaving a precious memory to be admired everyday!

Team Socials: Whether it is for winning the game or the end of the season, getting the team together to paint and party is a great way to celebrate! Earth, Glaze & Fire has many pieces to choose from that relate to different sports: if we don't, we can order them! Once again, make the memory last with pottery! "GO DOLPHINS! 2005"

Troops: Girl or Boy Scout Troops can earn their pottery or art badges at Earth, Glaze & Fire. Although we don't actually mold and create our own pottery, we can explain how the process works using visuals and descriptions. An EGF employee will also explain how the special underglaze paints work so your group can paint some wonderful pieces and then will take everyone on a mini tour of the studio including how we glaze & fire your pieces in our glaze room. We do not have group rates, however, we can work out a special deal specifically for your group. If you have a price in mind, we will try to reach it! Bridal Showers:

Brides who are tired of the same old bridal shower ideas and have been to enough lingerie parties will love this idea...

Brides throughout the US are holding bridal showers at paint-your-own pottery studios.

We would love for you to have yours at Earth, Glaze & Fire

One example of a bridal shower we had: A bridesmaid and the bride came in and reserved the time and the date for the party. At that time the bride decided that she wanted a new set of dishes. She picked out all the pieces she wanted and one of our employees made a list for her. When the time came for the shower about 15 of the bride's friends came in and picked one or two of the pieces the bride had chosen (which were displayed on a table). The brides chose all the colors she wanted on her dishes. Each friend was allowed to paint whatever they wanted, as long as they used the bride's colors.

To help make the shower a success, they brought certain music they wanted us to play, food and drinks, flowers, etc.

Everyone had a wonderful time--the bride was so excited when she came in a week later to pick up all her new dishes. Each one was very special to her--the priceless gift.

Baby Showers:
