Kids Night Out

We’ll give your parents a coupon good for $10 off two dinner entrees at Iron Bridge Wine Company so they can get out for a quiet dinner. The Iron Bridge Wine Company is just one block away, so they’ll have plenty of time to enjoy they’re dinner and pick you up by 7:30 p.m.

Girl scout Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes can choose from a variety of fun-filled arts and crafts workshops at Earth, Glaze & Fire in Old Town Warrenton, Virginia.

Our classes can also help girl scouts fulfill their badge requirements in arts and crafts.

Evening Under the Stars for Kids!

Old Town Warrenton’s “Evening Under the Stars” is one of Warrenton, Virginia’s big annual gala events, and a major fundraiser for the Partnership for Warrenton — a non-profit organization that works tirelessly to preserve the historic character and beauty of Old Town Warrenton.

The Partnership for Warrenton estimates that a crowd of 900 or more will flock to Old Town Warrenton on September 18, 2010 to enjoy fine food served by a dozen or more of Warrenton’s most popular local restaurants, and dancing to the music of the Daryl Davis Band.

In past years, the Evening Under the Stars has been an adults-only event — but this year, Earth, Glaze & Fire will host a fun-filled “Evening Under the Stars for Kids” event from 8 p.m. to midnight September 18. Now, your entire family can come and enjoy the gala festivities. Parents can rest easy, knowing their children are close by and enjoying their own kid-friendly meal and professionally-supervised creative entertainment.

Our staff will serve your children a delicious dinner and entertain them with crafts and games. We’ll make a wind chime in clay and play pottery bingo.

Fee for the 4-hour event: $45.00 per child.

A portion of all proceeds will benefit the Partnership for Warrenton.

Paint your own pottery studios and shops have flourished over the past two decades.

Did you know, for instance, that:

~ Sources suggest that the first paint your own ceramics store opened in New York City in 1993.

~ By 1997, Entrepreneur magazine reported that there were around 200 stores across the nation.

~ The Contemporary Ceramic Studios Association says there were some 2,000 stores around the world by 2007. At that time the latest figures (for 2005) indicated that around 5 million customers visiting paint your own ceramics studios had generated world wide sales approaching $400 million.
